History

Here’s a Page of our History.  The Varied Posters of the Soil Saloon.  Enjoy.

Perhaps I’m feeling a bit nostalgic.  Perhaps I have to spend a lot of time in front of a computer these days.  But I thought, hell, we’ve all been doing this soil saloon thing for a little while, so why don’t I make some pages for previous races?  Stay tuned for the new website functionality of reminiscing/bragging/gagging on past anecdote, memory, image and word.  Not to mention upcoming events and entertainment.  Who’s down for a bicycle rodeo?

  1. so whats up with SF Flow this year?

    • Way I hear it, them fellas tryin’ to get all respectable like, and do the flow above board, y’know, with insurance, big prizes, and a fundraiser for SF Urban Riders.  But, the way they tells it, thems a whole thorny mess of governmental red tape they gotta wade through, so I guess it’s not happenin’ real soon, but probably gonna happen…

  2. seems like you guys have a good thing going on the west coast. I’m interested in having some similar type events here on the east coast to stir up excitement among local riders. Could someone email me at dustin_burchnall@comcast.net who is willing to share some info with me on how you folks do what you do? Also check out http://www.rideonenine.com. It’s an online community and source of info to do with all things mtb in our region.

  3. This tells me I’s better move out to SF reals soon… darn if this ole depression aint got me down. I like to ride dern it!!
